Patrick McDonnell is one of my favorite artists, not just for his artwork, but for his calm, present nature. When I asked him about his daily routine, he said he meditates every morning. Wanting to emulate him, I took up meditation, and haven't stopped since. I'm still not quite the calm, present person I seek to be - but I feel I get a teeny bit closer every day!
