The first time I was at ritzy 5-star hotel, I wasn't even a guest. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I were staying at the rustic budget hotel nearby. We'd walked over and entered the grounds, doing our best to appear guests of the hotel. We ordered big fruity drinks and sat on the chaise lounges by the pool, feeling like royalty. No one had to know about the little budget hotel down the street - for the moment, we were part of the jet set.
